Our Commitment
Green Vision Technical Services ("we", "Company") operates the AgriPeople™ platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our Platform.
We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Amendment) Act, 2008, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India.
Section 1
Data We Collect
Account data: Email, name, phone number, organisation details collected at registration.
Usage data: Login timestamps, IP addresses, browser/device information, feature usage patterns.
Business data: Leads, contacts, orders, products, communications — data you input into the Platform.
WhatsApp data: Inbound and outbound message content, phone numbers, bot interaction logs.
Technical data: Server logs, error reports, performance metrics.
Location data: GPS coordinates from employee check-in (HRMS module) — collected only when feature is used.
Biometric-adjacent data: Selfie images captured during attendance check-in are stored for audit purposes only, not processed for biometric identification.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your business data for advertising.

WhatsApp API & Meta Data Processing
WhatsApp Business API Disclosure: The Platform uses the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API to send and receive messages on your behalf. Message content transmitted through this API is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. in accordance with their Business Terms and Data Policy. By enabling WhatsApp features, you agree to Meta's terms and confirm you have obtained valid TRAI-compliant consent from your contacts before sending them messages.
- WhatsApp messages are stored in our database to power the inbox, bot, and analytics features
- Message logs are retained for up to 12 months for audit and compliance purposes
- Phone numbers are never shared with third parties beyond what is required to deliver messages via Meta's API
- Users may opt out of WhatsApp communications at any time by replying STOP

Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted on Render (AWS infrastructure). Sensitive credentials are encrypted using Fernet symmetric encryption before storage. All data is stored within India-accessible infrastructure.
- Encryption in transit: All connections use TLS 1.2+
- Encryption at rest: Sensitive settings encrypted with Fernet (AES-128-CBC)
- Access control: Row-level security enforced — each organisation's data is isolated
- Authentication: JWT tokens with configurable expiry; optional MFA
- Audit trail: SHA-256 tamper-evident chain logs all data access and modifications
- Rate limiting: API rate limits prevent automated scraping
- Backup: Automated daily database backups retained for 7 days
Section 5
Your Rights
Under applicable Indian law and the DPDPA 2023, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data held on the Platform
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Erase your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Data portability — export your business data in standard formats
- Withdraw consent for specific data processing activities
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India

Section 6
Data Retention
- Active subscription: Data retained for the duration of the subscription
- After termination: Business data retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
- Audit logs: Retained for 7 years for legal compliance
- Login and IP logs: Retained for 2 years
- WhatsApp message logs: Retained for 12 months
Section 7
Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates with the following third-party services. Their use is subject to their respective privacy policies:
- Meta WhatsApp Cloud API — message delivery
- Anthropic Claude API — AI crop diagnosis (image content temporarily processed, not stored by Anthropic beyond their retention policy)
- Google OAuth — optional authentication
- Render.com — cloud hosting infrastructure
- Razorpay — payment processing (if enabled)
